Mobile preview broken

I’m having a strange behaviour on my mobile editor preview. No matter what view I’m previewing, it shows a blank page with the app logo in the middle. Refreshing the editor and relaunching the browser won’t fix it. It has not always been like this (it used to happen occasionally but would go back to normal on its own, now it seems stuck like this).

The app shows well in BubbleGo.

Any fix for this?

Hi, Yeah, this happens in Bubble’s mobile preview from time to time. The app is usually fine, the preview just gets stuck on the splash/logo screen. I’ve run into the exact same thing before.

A quick thing to try is clearing the editor’s cookies/local storage (Bubble has a button for it in the top-right). Sometimes switching the preview device or opening the preview in an incognito window also snaps it back to normal.

If BubbleGo is showing everything correctly, it’s almost definitely just the editor preview glitching. It usually goes back to normal after a reset like that.

download the Bubble Go app on google play or appstore and test there, has less random bugs.

Adding to what others have shared, here are a few more things you can try:

  1. Hard refresh your browser with Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac) while in the editor

  2. Try a different browser entirely - sometimes Chrome extensions can interfere with the preview

  3. Check if you have any ad blockers or privacy extensions that might be blocking the preview from loading correctly

  4. In the editor, try clicking the “Refresh preview” button (circular arrow icon) multiple times

  5. Check your page settings to make sure the page width is set correctly for mobile. Sometimes if the responsive settings are off, the preview can behave strangely

  6. If none of these work, you can report it to Bubble support through the bug report form - if it is happening consistently, there might be something specific to your app that is causing it

Since it works fine in BubbleGo, the app itself is fine. This is definitely just a preview glitch in the editor.
