I think incentive is ‘‘product fit is being already there’’, If I were you I would wait for desktop plugins to be replicated to mobile plugins, it will happen really fast
@josh , I’m sorry but you and @emmanuel need to go full-blown Founder Mode at this point. I know you guys are 10 years in but at least one of you needs to be super in the details of the product. I believe in your vision and your early choices but the people who are currently designing Bubble don’t ever use it when they clock off work. There is no intentionality or care in the product. For example, the below should have been caught by at least one employee:
The engineers are heads-down dealing with massive technical debt and huge features while the product/design people don’t even use or understand Bubble.
I think the new WF editor is headed towards a good place and is much more useable with Compact Mode enabled, but there are just so many small frustrations that would have been easily caught and fixed if the people working on the product actually used it for more than 5 minutes a day.
Edit: Thanks for fixing this!
Great, excited to native mobile
100% Agree. Real problems everyday user face doesn’t actually considered as problems by that team whoever they are. I have been pushing for speed optimization on new wf editor navigation for over a week, for complex pages delay reduced from 8-10 secs to 2-3 secs, now they consider problem solved. If they ever did proper testing on the old editor they knew it took max 0.3 secs. Now extrapolate this approach. But overall C-suit and engineering team strong.
I had a question on this topic, needs to be clearer.
Question for the team @… About App Text / Translation. I see this message in General Settings :
“Setting a language field on the user type only applies to your web app. Your native mobile app automatically uses the language preferences based on the priority set on the user’s device.”
The problem I see here is that that will be a nightmare to translate EVERY app text in EVERY languages !
I’ve set a lot of text in app text, but I decided to allow only 3 languages (EN FR ES), my targeted audience.
What should I consider to do ?
How to filter native plugin, maybe I m a dumb but I didn’t found how to
@georgecollier
Yes, me too!!! Looking forward to conditional branching.
Without the conditional branching, the new workflow editor is generally meaningless.
you can still use the API builder for this. Instead of a plugin…unless you’re using some front end JS tool. I have a similar issue since I used algolia search (similar product) and I moved everything to API calls in native mobile.
you’re looking to filter search results? it’s the same as web. happy to try and help…i just setup a search filter in many different ways on native.
Nope I meant in the plugin directory, how to spot plugins compatibily
