So the IAP will not be in the near future? That is really bad, since many of us depend on it in order for us to monetize our apps. This means that your price increases would also not be justified, in my opinion.
Why don’t you use Stripe in the meantime?
You cannot use Stripe. If you want to monetise your app through in-app-purchase, Apple forces you to use their IAP (so that they can take their 30% (15% for small biz).
when you say AI Editing comes this year - what month do you have in mind? Dezember?
Super cool AI, Ai this Ai that. But focus on the basic stuff, Bubble have lots of bugs in many basic features like:
Table element still Beta, Slider Input looks like 1995, Map is so basic that people needs to pay other plugins, API Connector have lots of bugs in import and my mouse is always white on that screen for some odd reason. Rich text still have bugs. And we are still missing if/else and loops!!
If you distribute in the United States you can..
Great news! Is there a projected release date for the order by feature in tables?
thanks for adding 5 minutes to every day as now every conditional I write or correct I also have to click to confirm now.
Who comes up with this nonsensical stuff?
Again obviously no bubble power user was interviewed.
This is just because you are used to the old way because clicking “enter” after your literal input is not a big thing and will not really add to your time spent because you needed to escape it anyway to save the literal value. Now it will directly continue the expression once you have selected the value or clicked enter.
Hi,
first of all, thank you for all the updates. I’m a big supporter of Bubble, so happy to hear about all those improvements.
However, I won’t hide my disappointment that in-app purchases won’t be released soon.
I currently have an almost-complete app whose business model relies on them.
My question to the Bubble staff and product team is this: what are your suggested options to work around this problem and allow mobile in-app purchases, so the app stores will approve it?
Given that native in-app purchases will take a while to implement, I expect you can give us some guidance on this (even if it’s a more complicated or temporary workaround).
Thank you so much for any advice
Hi everyone,
I want to take a moment to acknowledge the feedback we’ve received about our decision to start charging for mobile before in-app purchases (IAP) are available. We know that for some use cases, IAP is an essential feature, and the current timeline (closed beta in October, general availability TBD based on how the beta goes) is frustrating.
Our focus right now is on ensuring the mobile editor provides a reliable and high-quality foundation. Sometimes that means pacing ourselves to address bugs and requirements before rolling out the next big piece. IAP is still on our roadmap, and we’ll get there.
It’s important to note: you can build and experiment with mobile apps without paying. Costs only come in once you decide to host your app live. For developers whose use cases are blocked by IAP, you won’t need to pay until it’s ready. For others, we believe there’s already meaningful value in launching live mobile apps today, and that’s why we think it’s fair to include mobile as part of our paid offerings.
We’ll continue to listen, to ship, and to be transparent about the trade-offs we make along the way. Thank you for keeping us accountable, and for building with us.

Yes, but if you distribute elsewhere, then you can’t!
Not a fan at all either, but started hitting Enter after typing and the value logs in. An extra step but much better than a mouse click.
I mean this fixes the issue that every time I would type the number 3 and hit enter, it would default to “Mobile Size (320px)” instead of the number 3, and having to backspace the conditional since that clearly won’t work.
I’m so excited to not have to manually move around the property editor all the time! Seriously underrated change, really looking forward to it.
Thanks for the tip!
i decided to give it a try after your comment, but no, i have to move my finger from mouse to enter every time this is way slower.
i write like 50 conditionals a day. this is very annoying.
So when you type something and hit enter on the keyboard, it doesn’t automatically select the thing you just typed? Because that’s how I’ve been using it
