Given the current not updated price of bubble, what is the max new price that you would be willing to accept before looking for a new platform (for all plans)? x = current price
- 1x-1.5x
- 1.5x-2X
- 2x-3x
- 4x-5x

That does seem really odd. Thanks for sharing that.
Since optimization will be essential with these changes, bubble will not be the tool for non techs that just want to build and not worry about best way to build.
With this changes, they need update the athe platform so everything is automatically optimized…lol
@ZubairLK this is what I’m talking about. @dee’s current % is nearly flatline utilization. She’s responsible and on a production plan… but under this new pricing scheme, the app is likely completely infeasible. This issue isn’t about paying more, it’s that the WU’s are complete off base. Now… 24 hours of silence. Shouldn’t there be someone here trying to explain if so many people are off? I’m lucky. I just started building, so I can easily switch platforms… but so many people are not lucky and have already invested years. My trust in bubble is eroding quick.
Maybe someone in Bubble is paid to click on every site to generate workloads… (joke)
Put me down on the list of someone who is scared about this change. I haven’t launched yet, and in the past 30 days I’ve done 250k wu in dev myself.
I’m creating a game on bubble, and to play the game people are going to need to be doing things on my site. My largest wu eater right now is changing my player’s health after they are attacked (moves their health in my DB - the attack.)
I’ve been building this game by myself for months as a passion project, and figured the $30 is hobby money that I can afford, but if I get 20 people to play the game it looks like I’ll be in an unfeasible pricing model. Shame on me for trying to do something out of the norm and cool on bubble…
I’m all for being throttled, please allow some sort of throttling for no extra money. It would incentivize optimisation still while not pricing out people like me who are just trying to create something cool, not the next big business app or something they can push off to a client.
How do we get an answer to a pricing query? My post has been removed, but questions are getting lost in this thread. @mikeloc
I’m wondering if anyone knows the price of 20+ million WU per month?
Really need to know if this is viable for my business to continue
Below WU pricelist you have price per WU when you exceed volume
It says if over 40m to contact sales… (so I don’t know where 20-40, sits)
Below 40m you incur the overage charges.
Patience. I’m sure all constructive comments here are being looked at and I’m pretty hopeful at the moment.
I’d give it the weekend before freaking out…
As context, here is my charts for the app that I am building that has not been released, has no users, and I haven’t actively been developing in the past couple of weeks:
I seem to be using right about 24 WU per hour on pageviews, but for an app that should have no page views. Also, some of the things I am being billed for WU aren’t clear. I am being billed for API workflows are ‘external API workflows’, but the only explanation I can find is ‘bubble_plugins_get_integrated_plug’ - what is that? It seems if you are going to bill me for it that I should be able to pinpoint exactly what it is, so I can determine if it needs to be eliminated. Also, it appears to run on startup of my index (even when no one views the page?).
Seems odd.

This is ridiculous, we have spend years of developing in Bubble to create apps, all the time our capacity uses was perfect. And now it turn out that the workloads is hitting the sky, even if we reduces the workload with 50% then it’s still enormous. Do we all have to scale down our apps to just have an acceptable workload or is it Bubble that doesn’t has his Platform designed well?
First get everybody on board and then double multiple times the price. Definitely not a Business Partner you can rely on.

Sorry….
I’m going mad…I think I’m calculating this wrong
If I use 4 million WU over the 20 million it would cost me $320,000 per month
Obviously that’s wrong lol, so how much would it actually cost?
This isn’t the first time Bubble has made drastic price changes. You must be ok with these changes since you’re locked into the platform. If you’re not, then you should seriously look into other platforms like wappler.io.
I moved most of my apps away during the last major price increase and my statements in the old announcement post below are still relevant.
It will be nice if every workflow have a counter to show how many WU it is costing, as well as every action.
@ZubairLK I’m still waiting on you to post metrics showing this change is feasible for ANY site (as you mentioned on youtube). Patience, sure… but there hasn’t even been an acknowledgement and 24hrs have passed. “We are looking into it” …“we hear you” … that would be a great start. Otherwise, all I see is hundreds of builders facing the prospect of having built an app on a platform that is no longer feasible.
$320 per month (not $320,000!!)
