Your best option would be to execute an external Python script for this. Javascript aint it for complex data analysis like this.

Is it an option to use one of the Math.js plugins?
I agree with Doug, however there are some people who tried it with Javascript (do a Google search), see for example this link: https://javascripttricks.com/multiple-linear-regression-in-javascript-a-step-by-step-guide-5c9688cf30d. You will probably need the Toolbox plugin to execute the JS.
