My app to say 2 sentences back to me

Hey Bubblers

I was wondering does anyone know if this would it be possible?

Quite simply I want my user to hit a button on there dashboard and a voice something like Alexa or Google home to say 2 sentences something like below.

“You have x amount of new submissions today”
“You have x amount amount of deleted submissions today”

I’m only looking for very basic as Im not an expert in API or anything like that.

Is it doable in bubble?

Cheers

Fully in bubble- probably not. Look into dialog flow
, Good course on udemy… And learn about APIs from Gaby or Salar, the world opens up when you master those.

I found a perfect solution! its a Text to speech plugin! Worked perfect right out the box!

I implement it when i have time.

Cheers :+1::ok_hand::ok_hand:

Hi, Rodrigo Vega from https://bluflame.xyz here :slight_smile:

You can check API documentation of Text to Speech of Watson: https://text-to-speech-demo.ng.bluemix.net/ and play the recorded message resulting in the audio player of bubble. There’s also right now a plugin that does text to speech already, look for it in the plugins list :slight_smile:

Here is an example of a URL from Watson Text to Speech that I once used for the project of a client. I just put this as the source for the Bubble audio player element, and make the text a dynamic field: https://watson-api-explorer.mybluemix.net/text-to-speech/api/v1/synthesize?accept=audio%2Fwav&voice=fr-FR_ReneeVoice&text=allo,%20allo,%20bonjour

Hope it helps.

@dambusmedia, published a text to speech plugin for Bubble the other day.

The WolramAlpha plugin has a text to speech element, if you only need it for something small you can make it 0 height, 0 width and use the action speak text. You dont need an API key for wolfram to use the element.
