Hi everybody!
I’m a project manager for two SAAS development projects being built on Bubble. The companies we’re building for are based in Orange County, Southern California. Our team is looking for a local Bubble developer to join/lead our existing Bubble team. The position is generally remote, but we would prefer someone who is nearby and who could meet in person here and there if needed. The industries served are very physical, and we think the projects strongly benefit from having a dev who can observe some of the business processes in person.
Project(s) details:
Project 1: Construction SAAS
- A modern UI layer/wrapper on top of a powerful, but archaic industry software. No rest API, but we’ve built a connector on AWS that allows for connection.
- Project status: 1 module POC 90% complete. Need to accelerate development of 4 additional modules. (1 module = 1 business department)
Project 2: Niche Logistics Software
- A 3rd party fulfillment software for a niche industry.
- Project status: full platform MVP 80% done. Need to accelerate MVP completion.
Both projects have:
- Reliable funding
- Experienced teams with deep industry knowledge and contacts
- Strong distribution networks
Reason for needing an additional/lead dev:
- Speed: We have been using an offshore partner who has been fantastic, but who has struggled with timelines (e.g. 1 project is nearly 12 months behind). We think adding an experienced, local Bubble dev can help us better understand what’s going on behind the scenes and power through bottlenecks faster.
- Uptime: The nature of the industries served mean our platforms have high utilization and reliability requirements. We’d like to improve our peace of mind by knowing we have a developer who is nearby or at least in the same timezone when bugs appear.
What we’re looking for in a dev:
- Local to Orange County, Southern California (LA County works too)
- Has experience building and deploying SAAS apps in Bubble
- Has an eye for modern UI/UX
- Communicates well, is a team player, and can work fast
Lastly one final note for anyone who made it to the bottom of my wall of text - we have a strong pipeline of work outside just these two projects. We have clients who are eager to start working, but the aforementioned speed/bandwidth concerns have made it difficult to get started.
I hope you’re out there! If so, looking forward to meeting you
Happy to answer any clarifying questions as needed.
Cheers!
