I would like to point out is that for good practice i usually wireframe on figma to sketch out the userflow before replicating it to bubble

Here is an example of marketplace app where students posts questions on a specific subject/course and lecturers respond to the questions from the students by sending their bid.
Whole functionality is quite similar to upwork where lecturers cant chat with the students unless the students have accepted their bid.
