Need to use Custom Icons (or anything better than I have access to)

I’m trying to replace some buttons on my app with funky icons because currently it looks a bit like an old Access Database.
In principle I know how to do this but I can’t find what I need in Bubble’s native icon library nor the Google(?) Material Icons or any other icons for that matter. I’ve tried creating a few of my own images as SVG files and I’ve installed FontAwesome but I can’t get anything to show on the screen.
So, what’s the best way to create and use Custom Icons? I’d love to bring my app kicking into the 21st Century so any suggestions would be much appreciated.

You can visit sites like SVG Repo to download nice svg’s and use them as images. They will load quickly.

Otherwise, use an icon pack.

I just released a plug-in called Better Icons. Not only is it a very large amount of icons (more than 100 I believe), but it lets you do the following:

  • Flip icon horizontally
  • Flip icon vertically
  • Change the way your mouse looks when hovering the icon

And most importantly, smoothly transition in between colors and even flipping X and Y.

Demo page (best viewed on desktop)

Better Icons is the only icon pack that does that. You can get it for 5$
