How to get started (4 steps)

Instant feedback via events
When the assistant finishes, assistant_finished fires. Use it to update your UI, play a sound, send a message — no polling logic required.

Backend workflows without glue code
If your Assistant calls a function with the same name as a Bubble backend workflow, the plugin runs it securely using your bubble_api_key. Want to upload a file, trigger a lookup, send an email? Just define the workflow — the Assistant will call it.

Rich file handling
Drag and drop PDFs, images, CSVs, JSON — up to 512 MB. Vision tools pull out text, charts, tables. Code Interpreter attachments run transformations. Parsed data, charts, and image URLs are sent back — ready for your app.

Full conversation control
Override openai_model or system_message on the fly. Track tokens for cost monitoring. Use Cancel Run to instantly stop a generation mid-stream.
