To help you manage the Workflow usage of the backups (which uses the Data API so consumes WU) I’ve added two new ways of selecting the rows you’d like to backup.
To manage your WU usage, you have two options.
You can filter the backup to be just the last 30, 60, 90, 180 days of data.
And you can then filter to include only new or modified rows in that period.
Coming soon are more options - to filter with a row level - so you can only backup for example “active” rows.

Is the retention policy of the pro plan applicable if backups are stored in my s3 bucket?
Good question - If your bucket - retention becomes yours to manage.

I’ve added authentication by Username & Password (as opposed to just API token)
This means you can use Privacy Rules to control what Data gets backed up. You may want to;
- exclude sensitive data from backups
- exclude data you’ve marked as not to be backed up - eg archived data - to manage your WU
- Only back up certain customers’ data
It also means that in a Saas app - your Customers can set up their own private offsite backups, of just their data from your Bubble app. Get in touch if this is interesting.
It was a nice side effect feature of wanting to do this for database migrations - the same technique you can use to control the data being pushed into Supabase, Xano etc.
Now PlanB can backup the Application Export, and the File Manager files. (So that’s everything now with the data!)
I am looking for someone with an App with at least a 1000 Files (more is better) in their File Manager and happy to try it as a Beta tester. (no cost)

Now with Plan B can export your Application Logs out of Bubble automatically and retained for 1 year.
Now you can export logs and search them! 
I have personally needed to do this for about 3 years now.
