Hello guys! So I’m facing a problem, I’ve created a group that shows the next match (aka the nearest match from the user’s current date). I’m facing a problem to get that constraint, all I can see is <, > & = but anywhere that I can find “nearest date”?
Hi there, @khaledkherallah… try clicking on Search for Matchs
, click More, and select :first item (or it might be :last item… I honestly get them mixed up sometimes), and see if that returns the expected result.

last item’s date can be later than an item created before it does that make any sense? So it would pull the last entry not the entry with the nearest date!
@mikeloc
I’m just saying I know I’ve had to switch back and forth between those options in the past in order to get a particular record because of how the search is performed.
Anyway, did it work?
Nope, it pulls the last entry created, so if I created an entry that have a date later than another entry it would still pull the last one created. But thanks anyways for your trouble.
@mikeloc
Well, for what it’s worth, I just created an example that does exactly what you described in your original post, and adding :first item to the end of the search works like a charm.
Best…
Mike
