Question about hiring to have a plugin created

I am looking to hire someone to create a plugin for me. At it’s basic level it would be a plug in that would roll 3D dice for an app I am working on.

I found bubbles “hire a developer” page Hire a No-Code App Developer | Bubble and was looking into the developers they suggested and found they are almost all for building full sites not plugins and list the starting price in the thousands.

My question is one of perspective as I have no idea how much something like that would cost and hope someone could give me a ball bark figure - like it’s a few hundred, about a thousand, or a few thousand. Any insights would be helpful.

Second question is if anyone has any recommendations for good plugin builders?

Thanks so much everyone.

ps. I do have a draft requirements document available if it would help.

Hey @jason.delasandro ,

Dropped you a message, awaiting your response!

Hi @jason.delasandro , one of my developers is a very skilled plugin creator and we would be more than happy to give you a rough quote on this. Is there anything else to it or just a 3D dice roll?

@Kayami, thanks so much. That looks awesome. It is very close to what I am looking for. Just wish I had enough experience to put it into a plugin.

make sure that who ever ends up building it uses the library or at least an existing one - i think there were a few more on github but this one looked closest.

i would avoid trying to use anything custom, a component like this is more configuration than it is implementing custom dice behavior.
