Video - [Email Tracker | Bubble Editor ]
I have a data type called “email.” For each email, there is a “Yes/No” field called “promotional email.”
I want to display the percentage of promotional emails (out of all emails) on daily and weekly graphs (two separate graphs).
Usually, to find the percentage, I simply divide the number of emails with “promotional email” set to “Yes” by the total count of emails.
However, I am not able to do this before grouping the data by day.
Please watch this video for a better explanation= video link
What is the name of the plugin you use for the chart ?
You can do this as you said by dividing the count / the total number of Emails so your expression should like this:
Search for Emails:grouped by Date : count / Search for Emails:count
The 1st part of the expression, you have already built it while for the second part; the “Search for Emails” will have no conditions to retrieve the total number of emails.
Please let me know if you need further support.
Hi Ahmed,
It didn’t work as the expression you suggested results in a number while the chart needs a series of numbers.
Please try this:
Search for Emails: count / Search for Emails:count grouped by:
Field 1 to group by: Date
Add a New Aggregation: count
The first part of the expression contains of course your condition while the second part of the expression is empty to retrieve all your emails.
Finally your expression should look like this:
I don’t see any option to group by after this expression: Search for Emails: count / Search for Emails:count
Yes you’re right please remove the “:count” from both sides of the expression. I believe you should then be able to group by then aggregate by count
