It most certainly is. I would never use the client-side data trigger event for such a workflow. In fact, doing so would fly in the face of an asynchronous mindset. Nothing I wrote suggested it’s suitable for every scenario.
Exactly, using it where it makes sense. I’m definitely a fan of using the right tool for the job.
Somebody once said ‘reactionary properties of bubble’ and that really resonated with me. Made a lot of sense and makes things easier to manage. Looking forward to the future posts.

Just a quick note—especially since I recently referenced this technique—that there’s now a much easier way to accomplish this. A new feature introduced yesterday allows frontend workflows to trigger backend custom events. This means data can now be returned directly from the backend to the frontend - a frequently requested and long-awaited feature. (Just be mindful of your conditions!) Wanted to follow up so as not to lead future viewers astray.
