[SOLVED] Why is the condition "List is empty" a list of booleans?

I want to show this button only when the list (Repeating Group) under it is empty, but apparently I can’t…

I tried with the list saved on user DB

and also with the list on the repeating group.

So I was wondering, how can it be a list of yes/nos? I know I can have the same outcome using the count of the list, but still, the question persists. :smirk:

Do when “RepeatingGroupSignedProposta’s List of ProjetodeLeis :count is 0”

Thank you for the reply!
I did it, it wasn’t a great problem after all
But still, I want to know the logic behind it.

“Is empty” is typically for a single value, whereas with a list, you have to use different language… so, instead of “is empty”, you’d say, when the list has 0 items.

Thank you so much, so “is empty” refers to the value of a variable (or thing) and not to the list itself.

Exactly. It refers to the value, not the list itself. And since the source of a repeating group is a list of variables, you’d want to say, “when all variables are empty” - otherwise known as “when list count is 0”

Thanks,
I’ve always getting confused when it comes to array/lists/containers. Today you teached me something important that will change that.
