Spotify Embed plugin provides an embeddable view of a track, artist, album, user, playlist, podcast or episode for use within your web project.
It comes with two elements for two kinds of widgets - the Spotify Embed and the Follow Button.
Yes thank you. Does your plug in allow us to play the whole track/playlist or just preview the track/playlist? As of right now if we use an HTML and copy the embed code we can preview the track but can’t play the whole thing. If the plug-in does not allow to play the whole track how is it different from the normal HTML element?
Currently, it allows playing only in preview mode.
It reduces the time and effort that in the ordinary case are required to set up an HTML element + may come with other features as well.
Still, we’ve added to the plugin’s improvement plan a record about adding more features like playing the whole track or playlist. The developer team will check how feasible would be to add them in the following plugin updates.
If there will be any other questions or suggestions about our plugin, please let us know.
Regretfully, there are no preliminary time limits for when this feature will come to live. If any news will appear in this regard, we will let you know first.
The developer team checked this option and shared the following feedback.
Tracks are played at full length when you log in to your Spotify account (even for free) in the browser in which the application with the plugin is open.
If the user is authorized only in the Spotify application, the track will be played in the browser only in preview mode, for 30 seconds.
Hope this helps. If there are any other questions or suggestions about our products, please let us know.
For some reason, the spotify embed isn’t showing up in my repeating group on this page even though, when I inspect it, I see it. Can you take a look? Feel free to edit the page. I made this page specifically for troubleshooting: Your Bubble app (bubbleapps.io)
We’ve thoroughly tested your page, and we’ve identified a potential issue. As you can see on the page, when the repeating group is set to a fixed layout, only the first player is displayed within the repeating group. However, switching the layout of the repeating group to a responsive layout resolves the issue.
We will promptly inform our developers about this problem so they can investigate it further and, hopefully, provide a solution. Rest assured, we will keep you updated with any new information we receive regarding this matter.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention and for your collaboration!
I’m excited to let you know that we’ve rolled out an update addressing the issue of the plugin element disappearing within a repeating group. To benefit from this fix, please ensure you’ve updated to version 1.15.0 or later.
To do this, head over to the plugins section of your Bubble app editor and select the appropriate update.
