Storing Identity cards, SSN, Passports and other important user documents

Hello!

We’re are developing a web app which stores users sensitive information, and we don’t want to compromise our data security.

Request you to please guide us with the best practices available to develop this infrastructure in Bubble.io (The user base is from the USA, Europe, and Asia)

If anyone who has knowledge on this, we would love to collaborate. Please DM.

Or should we use third party data services e.g., Xano or something similar?

Waiting for right solutions from Bubble community, so that anyone can develop these features in Bubble, securely.

bubble has built in tools to keep things secure like privacy rules. There are other security practices that you can put into place to ensure security. You should consult your lawyers in USA, Europe and Asia to ensure you follow all related laws for your different jurisdictions of operations as laws for privacy are much more stringent for Europe than USA.

It still isn’t the best answer. Have you delivered this kind of work before?

I’m not looking for any awards for my answer quality as perceived by the person asking the question.

If you mean apps that can store private information securely, yes, I have.

Great! this is where I am more interested in this thread, for awards that’s Bubble’s responsibility not mine.

If you’re available and have secure solution then as I said I would love to collaborate on this app. It is about the best & ethical practices, so that everyone could leverage on it.

Almost every serious Bubble developer would have managed sensitive data. There are plenty of threads on this issue if you looked for it.

There’s no one size fits all. If you are concerned about the legalities of storing sensitive information then you best seek legal advice for the various data protection laws of the countries you deal in.

You could also look at Bubble’s policies.

If you seek advise on how to secure your data in Bubble then Bubble’s privacy rules are the most important part of your security workflow. There are other layers of security you can choose to implement such as storing in external databases or using encryption.

So, this client has just acquired EFIN.

Thanks for providing your insights, and as I said earlier too I am willing to hire or collaborate with these serious Bubble developer because I clearly lack skills. This is the reason for me to create this thread.

I am trying to look around ways on how to encrypt all these sensitive data within Bubble or using external database.

Earlier threads on this topic won’t had solution assigned.
