Stripe and mobile app

Does anyone know if stripe payments(receive a subscription) work on mobile apps. I was looking at a few forums from last year and seen one about a password reset(which I could also use help with), and it also mentioned stripe payments do not work with mobile apps. I am currently working on a web app built as a native app and I think I am about ready to switch it to a app so I can setup push notifications with one signal. Any advice on that would also be appreciated. Thank you to anyone who can give alittle help and advice.

Do they technically work? Yes! You can integrate Stripe and the functionality to checkout will work fine. However, if you’re going to be on the app store, you can’t use Stripe for any purchasing and must use in-app purchases provided by Apple.

Thank you for the quick reply just so I’m correct I wouldn’t be able to buy anything through stripe but my users would still be able to subscribe? Also I plan to eventually add a store to sell items myself would users also be able to pay for those items our is that what you mean as far as purchasing from the app store.

The ‘Apple Tax’ only applies to virtual products and not physical products. So if your store sells physical products, you should be good to go with just stripe.

Thanks for the help so I will have to consider a Apple Tax for my users subscribing to my app since it is not a physical item(virtual item), but if I if I sell physical items I will not have to worry about a Apple Tax. Sorry for the confusion I’m pretty new to the mobile end of things but have finally arrived at the point of deciding weather I should or can go mobile or not.
