The default value configured in a custom state is not being maintained correctly

I have a custom state of type option set, and it doesn’t let me select a default value. I noticed that when I switch back to the old editor, it does show the default value selection, but in the new editor it doesn’t. I already reported it to Support. Has this happened to anyone else?
