Translucent background for elements

Is there any way (or plugin) to make the background of an element translucent? For example a sidebar with a translucent background. (example image attached)
Thanks!

Adjuts styling of a group (transparency, gradient, etc). Hope this helps.

Thanks, I was aware of that option, but I am looking to blur the element (not only make it transparent).

Plugins for that :+1:

Thanks again - i checked them all, but they only allow blurring of the element’s content (or image) but my challenge is to be able to blur what is behind the element.

Hey, actually the “Effet Brouiller / Blur (Free)” plugin does the trick!

How ? It is not clear to me what should I enter to the “ID Attribute” field.

you don’t need a plugin for this if you don’t want to use one.

But normally the ID attribute on the element is needed to match the ID field of the plugin element. I’m not familiar with the plugin linked in this thread as I just do the opacity as I do in the video above.
