Does anyone know of a way to take a list of dates and return a formatted list of ranges. Looking to make something more pleasing for the eye.
Take list of dates.
8/20/2022, 8/21/2022, 8/22/2022, 8/23/2022, 8/27/2022, 8/28/2022
and turn it into formatted text like this.
8/20/2022 - 8/23/2022, 8/27/2022 - 8/28/2022
look for the format as text option after you get your list of dates and use a " - " as your separator
But how do I group the dates into ranges?
Without more details on your Data Types and what data you are trying to group it’s hard to know exactly how to help. Does this example provide any clarity?
The data type is Date. A list of them. A list of ranges that I want to present in a better visual way.

If it is the case you are wanting only certain fields to be shown out of your list then you could do something like this:
However, if you are arbitrarily trying to somehow pick the 1st and 3rd items out of the list and then the 7 and 10th items you might want to consider a different approach unless they will always be in that position on every record.
