Turn your Bubble app into a Native (webview) App (yes or no?)

Hey Bubblers!

Thanks to all the contributors throughout the last 6 months, I’ve built a FREE template library with 64 templates (what a ride! :relieved:)

Now I’ve got a new (okay actually its not that new) idea -

A system to turn your Bubble app into an Android app

Basically the vision is this -

  1. You provide a link to your app and a logo.
  2. The system will wrap it up for you to submit to playstore.

So the foreseeable technical problems are overloading, but since many bubblers have talked about this need - I decided to give a poll and check the demand before investing time on building it.

If you’re interested in this idea, simply comment below. (I’ll invite you first when the system is ready )

If I got a considerable amount of thumbs up I’ll defo do this for the community!

Cheers.

Cool. Only app store and play store?

Only Android (Play Store) to start. We probably need a bit more time to work out how to automate the process for iOS (App Store) - there are a few more manual steps involved.

Thanks. It needs to be a single page app on bubble? I am in regardless.

Thubkable is a solid choice for conversion. I help people everyday convert their apps.

And at Thunkable, they send your submission to the iOS App Store for you, under your own account!!

Awesome!

love it

We looked into Thunkable. It doesn’t seem to support a few things, e.g. in-app payment, and adding push notifications (live deployment) requires a paid Thunkable subscription ($13 a month). Otherwise it would be a good option. Used it back in 2019.

I am hoping to automating the whole process so everyone can get an app super quickly.

Very cool you are helping people out on Thunkable though. It took me a while to familiarize myself with the tool. Could definitely use your help if I were to explore Thunkable again.

It takes less than 5minutes for me to push updates to the App Store. If you wanna talk through it, ping me on their intercom
