What is happening rn? Just tested it arbitrary text- write your link- and hyperlink it it gets it
when arbitrary text:formatted as hyperlink and write example.com on arbitrary text, you can’t change its color or make it bold etc..
Why not arbitrary text:formatted as HTML?
Bb code doesn’t work if you put it around the arbitrary text expression? Does the checkbox for recognize links and emails work ?
BBcode doesnt work and if you do recognize links and emails and color it it doesnt work either
@fede.bubble this should work…when working with text element the hyperlink should be recognized as link
What I am doing is text element - inside that hello arbitrarytext:formatted as hyperlink (arbitrary text is “example.com/version-test”, maybe I am doing it wrong?
No, I imagine when releasing this new feature it could have been an oversight from team to not verify and check the existing feature of recognize links and emails was compatible and picked up formatted as hyperlink as a link…I have not tested it myself, but if you are setup as you say you are and say it doesn’t work I assume it is not.
I just want to say again that this has been the greatest expression upgrade ever. It makes working with backend workflows so much better!
So weird that this was a silent drop.
@fede.bubble in past when an idea from idea board was implemented the user who submitted the idea and others who upvoted it would have gotten an email about its implementation and the idea would be marked on idea board as implemented.
I don’t see that as having happened on a couple new features mentioned in this thread. Is that not a thing the team will be doing any longer? Seems like such an easy win. Send email and for the user who submitted idea, give pre generated forum post to celebrate. I would have updated this feature on forum if I had been notified of its implementation.
Not really sure how this is working right now (if at all), but I’ll investigate.
I agree we should “close the loop” and let users know when their ideas have been implemented
