workaround - create your own S3 bucket for the images and config the ACL on the bucket exactly meeting your reqmts. Change the destination bucket on the upload to correspond.

How do you change the “destination bucket” on the upload?
AWS S3 & SQS Utilities Plugin | Bubble would be one option for doing this.
In addition to paywall’d plugins, other options exist that would assume/require additional exp. related to components/ integration.
Accept the default behavior of the bubble uploader OR pay the price for a component/ architecture mix that exactly meets your needs.

I would definitely pay for the solution as I think bubble’s way of handling this is unacceptable for what I’m trying to achieve.
