Thanks you @randomanon for acknowledging my contribution
@fede.bubble Can we know the selection criteria for each of the categories?
From my point of view, Community Champion of the Year doesnât seem to be linked to forum⊠is it?
@boston85719 is the second with the most received likes and @senecadatabase 4th @mitchbaylis is 5th (Guess who is third ) among users (not Bubble team). Iâm first for the solutions and @adamhholmes is second and @boston85719 third. (And we can continue on how many replies⊠similar top 5). From my point of view, @georgecollier is the top contributor anyway but Iâm curious to know how nominees are selected. I agree however that forum is not the only way to contribute to community.
Maybe we could have a page to read about each nominees for each company to have a better idea?
what @georgecollier said. This year we decided to go for a split approach: nominations first, voting second. Depending on how things go this time around weâll adjust for next time
Np problem. Didnât see the form. Is this was announced here? I donât remember (or maybe I miss it).
@fede.bubble But a page that give a quick idea of what nominees does this year could be great. I donât know anything about Founder of the year and I donât know all the nominees and what they did.
makes sense. I did add the name of their apps next to their name in the list here so if you want you can try to google them up to learn more.
But good note, next time we should have more info on them for sure
Maybe in 2026 they will do a Bubble Forum Contributor Lifetime award Likes Received, Solutions Provided, Replies Posted, Topics CreatedâŠmight bring the Forum back with more engaging commentary and peer learning shared. I used to feel like I learned something new in here everyday.
We have these âbest ofâ in our city every yearâŠ
and usually when theyâre done, people are like âhuh?â
But anyway, I havenât heard of a lot of the candidates, maybe because I havenât been to Bubble Con or other meetings?
I think everyone is great on the forum, and I love all the commentsâŠeven @emir.ozgun who said I was wasting his time the other day I still think I was right
Probably pretty much agreed @georgecollier has given the most back in free stuff.
@randomanon I love reading his posts because he usually says out loud what most people are thinking . I love his posts and get a lot of laughs from them.
If I had to pick one person that I think was the smartest when it came to bubble I would have to say @adamhholmes. It seems like he knows just about everything.
@boston85719 is brilliant too. Itâs just some of his posts should be organized by chapters
Just too many to really mention. I love all the posts.
Hopefully, when the results are done, nobody feels bad.
I didnât hear about the nominationsâŠthen again, the email I used to sign up with was just a throwaway email for this site. I may change it to my business email.
All I can contribute to that is people like @randomanon is necessary and @boston85719 is great, I use advanced versions of Bostons contributions.
@georgecollier has contributed a lot to the community and I believe he is in direct communication with Bubble team working on security stuff. But he did some gatekeeping once so I canât vote him.
I imagine it was more along the lines of, if every one of your posts is something complaining rather than being constructive, then youâre not really contributing positively here and clearly have no will to stay
