Hey Bubblers!

Just to let you know that the following actions have been added to that plugin:

  • Create Bucket in Wasabi
  • Delete Bucket from Wasabi

Enjoy!

I’ve just subscribed to the plugin. within 2 mins all up and running, thanks for the clear documentation. All is working splendidly with the exception of Set file to public access, it fires just dandy, returns the public URL but the file is not public. Ive checked permission of the user account setup. Rather that spam the thread, ive pinged you a quick screen grab of the setup in my bubble app and emailed to the address you provided in the plugin docs. thanks

Hello,

I want to use your plugin to upload an image taken from the cell phone camera, compressed, and then uploaded to Wasabi.

Is it possible?

Is it required to use the drop zone to upload or I can load up a file in the drop zone via workflow?

As Wasabi is an object storage system, this plugin follows the same philosophy: it is content agnostic, so it can’t alter or compress images.

I would rather recommend a specialised service to process medias, such as Cloudinary.

It is mandatory to use the Dropzone if you want to upload from the front-end, allowing large files.
Backend actions are available but limited in size, as per the documentation.

I have the plug ins for the camera and the compression. I was wondering if it was possible to load the compressed image in the drop zone somehow to upload it to Wasabi.

So you are implying with the backend action I could achieve it?

Thank you for the prompt reply! Great support!

Loading an application in the Dropzone is only possible from the file or image browser on the device.

Yes. Please refer to the demo for more information. Also, upload base64 content action, may be useful for you.

Thank you! I WISH it could be possible to do with the front-end workflow. If there was a way to set a state or to use the bubble URL after the image is compressed it would be amazing. But if it works at the backend workflow it solves the issue.

Thank you for responding!

Hey Bubblers and @condocrm !

Wow! This is awesome! Thank you for including compression and resizing!

Very nice feature addition :+1:

Hi @redvivi - I just installed this plugin, however when I upload multiple files it tends to hang and only upload some of the files. The progress will just stop. I checked the console and don’t see any errors. Do you have any ideas what could be happening? I switched to this plugin from Zeroqode’s plugin due to a similar issue, so it may have something to do with my Wasabi account/settings

We reached out in DM to provide troubleshooting / isolation steps.

Is it possible run the workflows for this in the backend?

Thanks

Just checking to see what the recommendations are for having a “Click To Upload” Option.

I was excited to see looping included in the plugin natively, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to trigger, for instance the Upload Files loop from an element.

Am I missing something? Or do I need to find a good workflow looping plugin

One more question about MIME type. I need to rename my files during the upload process, when I do that, I can’t select a MIME type or read it from the file so it gets sent to Wasabi as a “Generic File”

I tested the files and they seem to load correctly, but this feels a lot like the type of thing that will bite me in the butt about 50,000 file uploads from now.

Is there a way to set the Mime type? I downloaded the filetype plugin but it doesn’t seem to work on the front end of the Drop Zone plugin

Yes this would be a nice having an action to trigger the upload window. One thing you can do is frame the uploader element nicely in a group and make it look like a button since the element is clickable
