Where's the transitions tab?

Hi,

In the latest version of Bubble the “Transitions” tab seems to have suddenly disappeared. Where can I find the transitions settings for an element now?

You don’t see a dropdown that says Select a property to define a new transition?

Hmm, it looks like you are using the new responsive engine, but some things don’t look right. For example, the This element is visible on page load setting should be on the Layout tab. Is the app a new one that you just created?

I’m seeing some weirdness, too. In all of my apps that I haven’t upgraded to the new responsive engine, the element tabs look like the new engine (but again, things don’t look right), and that shouldn’t be the case. Seems like bug reports are in order here.

@bubble, any insight here?

Seems like the transitions have completely disappeared for some users in this new Bubble version. Please look into it.

@mikeloc @mikhaeel - This was an intentional change that came from the recent upgrade to universal 4 input padding. You can read more about it here - [Change] V/H padding has been migrated to 4-input system

Looks like we missed the transitions aspect - it should be appearing on the “Appearance” tab. Our engineers are working on a fix!

Thanks for the clarification, @sam.morgan. I had seen that post, but I haven’t edited one of my old apps since it was posted, and I didn’t make the connection to the fact that the tabs on elements in the old engine were changing. So, thanks again for clarifying, and thanks for escalating the fix for the transitions… much appreciated!

@mikhaeel @mikeloc The fix is now live! You should see a transitions dropdown in the appearance tab of the element inspector in any legacy responsive apps.
