When AI coding gets going properly, someone experienced in Bubble will have a lot of knowledge of building products and solving problems with technology that are very transferrable.
Bubble is a really good tool to learn on, because it has core features and when you learn them, you can say “I can reliably build and deploy a web app end to end” as well as say “I can coordinate the design, development, deployment and testing of a digital product”. So you will definitely take THAT with you.
And once AI gets going more broadly, a lot of things will look really different in the world. Bubble isn’t at threat from vibe coding tools - Bubble is at threat when our whole understanding of web and mobile applications becomes irrelevant. That’s what the Googles etc are trying to change.
Bubble will always be at the very least slightly more relevant than AI no-code builders, mainly because you can actually understand what you’re doing. Loveable and co. just help you stab in the dark.
You’re building something, but it could possibly be incredibly inefficient, a huge security risk and God forbid you try to make changes in the future without rewriting everything – you don’t even know what you’re rewriting or what to rewrite.
At some point, some manual human intervention is necessary for serious sustainability or scalability of any kind.

I hope i can continue to rely on building production apps in Bubble for the next 50 years! I honestly really enjoy the experience.
I’m confident to build with code now but it just doesn’t feel as satisfying as building in Bubble.

These days, it’s getting easier and easier to build an app…
but that’s only a small accomplishment in the big picture.
On the app store there are tons of apps. There’s only a very small single digit of those apps that are even remotely successful.
If I had a Bubble Agency, which I don’t forsee, I’d do like our agency does and also offer marketing. The marketing of the app can be more lucrative than the actual build of the app in a lot of cases.
There are secret tips and tricks to take an app from zero users to 10s of thousands in a very short time. Good marketing is not only helpful to your clients, but keeps them as clients for years.
We don’t take clients that don’t have a marketing budget because they’re just building a hobby (as they say on Shark Tank).

- Warp 2.0, claude code, Trae, Kilo code, Cursor, Kiro.dev, Codex, Gemini CLI, Antigravity.
Boom.
I been thankful for bubble to get me ready for AI-Coding. ( master the concept of logic, not writing code )
in just 6 months. i fell like totally different.
few example:

Bubble has a 200 query limit SQL till now. ( Now no longer a problem for me, easily solved with AI-Coding. build myself a backend server that serve data, via API. bubble just the front )

dramatically cut all infra Cost. some simple app, small app, internal tools, combine with railway flexible hosting… I still have app running $62/m on bubble. but i had now 20+ app for various purpuse only cost me $12~$17, some are high CPU usage.

many.. too many, previously impossible task in bubble, now can be done in 1 evening.
Not just super increase my dev speed, also greatly increase what i can create. -
eg, grab langchain + openrouter, possibility are crazy, now build a corporate Chatbot based on LlamaIndex. just ask the AI go understand this repo, and follow my instruction to build around it.

endless possibility. use any existing repo, dev around it. connect to almost any iOT in any possible way. I had a app that is energy reading smart meter which only connect via MQTT
when i said bubble is not relevant in 3 years. i was deadly wrong.
Bubble is now the obstacle of Builder. It become the barrier if you use it.

People think long term but you also know that there is no fear far more than that of thinking about the future, “WHAT IF’s” are too much and probably its the fear of it that you should be worried more about. In the next 20 years you should be thinking of counting all the contingency plans you have kept just incase Bubble doesnt stay till that 20 years. i think versatility in the tech world currently will help.

Most people are just wanting to build an app to make money. Sounds like you’ve become a tool collector.
Those using bubble aren’t behind; they’re just playing a different game than you are. Most aren’t sitting around thinking about Connecting MQTT-powered smart meters in Uzbekistan at 3AM using 14 agents…
I mean saying how you built 42 Apps, 17 Backends, a Smart Meter, 3 AI Agents in 6 months is interesting…and saying building a fully agentic dev with spec-driven antigravity was jaw-dropping…but none of that is a revenue metric.
Successful app builders post things like:
“We hit $10k MRR…here’s how Bubble helped us ship fast and scale."

Well I didn’t play with all these vibe coding tools, however they look amazing as per your experience with them in the past few months.
IMO, I believe they are a solid choice if you would like to validate an idea / raise fund / build an MVP quickly to demonstrate it. I guess they outpace any other platform including Bubble in terms of speed.
However, building a maintainable, secured, scalable production-ready product is another game and it requires from you to understand what has been built in order to be able to support it and debug it if needed. This could be possible for a developer not for a non-technical person unless he decides to learn how to code.
Finally, speed without quality shouldn’t be the choice for any person who thinks long term.
