Why is bubble making me build a website & not a game?

I started on bubble.io because they claimed that AI can help me create and build a game, test it and to launch it.

Ludio already ripped me off and I feel like Bubble is doing it now too. I went through the start up process. It showed me how successful it would be. After I moved forward and paid the $32 Monthly, Bubble is making me build a website and has nothing to do with building a game. What is up with that? I’m not paying $32 a month just for a website, especially when that’s not what I agreed to. I’m tired of wasting my time and money.

Someone, please help navigate me back to creating my game. What’s the point of the website when I have no product yet to list? Hopefully, I can get it built even with AI’s help.

Got an idea, off to start another topic lol

What kind of game are you trying to make. I’ve seen a handful of game projects built on Bubble over the years so I know it’s possible.

Yeah, Bubble’s messaging re AI is an attempt to hold onto its market share in the face of Bolt / Cursor etc etc.
However, despite such claims, Bubble’s current offering doesn’t have any meaningful AI type of app builder. So while you can build a complex and custom app on Bubble with minimal coding, you unfortunately can’t have AI build it for you; so if that’s your goal, check out the threads on here that discuss AI builders…

I was actually super excited about this. I didn’t expect AI just to create POOF it’s there lol. I create, it builds, I test it, it fixes it, I launch it. It initially gave me the impression that it was helping me to build a game app. Probably because that’s what I was doing and every where said “for your game app”
After I paid for the monthly membership, the game app concept that I spent that entire time working on… turned into a website. See my issue with that?
