For Bubble to set the default to No Limit is unacceptable

FWIW, for new Bubble apps, there is a default limit, as stated in the original announcement…

All new Bubble apps will have this feature enabled with a default limit of 10.

As @georgecollier states, though, I’m sure Bubble will be understanding if this is a first occcurrence.
