Hey, it looks like the images just won’t work in the test environment, but will be fine in production. They need to be https:// to work in the test apps ( forum post here: Showing image from url pulled from google spreadsheet thru blockspring? ). So if you use the URL field from General Item Lookup, you should be fine!
