What should the height of input fields be? Is there a reason why it just ignores whatever I set, as well as positioning?

Here’s the editor where they are 70px high and as an example I have them fairly close together:

Yet here’s what it looks like in Preview mode, regardless of how close or far apart I put the fields:

How can I fix this as it’s a huge waste of space having that big chunk of white in between each field?

Editing vertical padding in styles may resolve this issue. Also try grouping these elements in one group.
