Lets talk about postmortems of our contracts with our customers… sub 99.9% availability now a days is completely unacceptable…
We are already nearing 1hr downtime… for many of us this is simply impossible to downplay
In future can you announce in advance to all of us when you run marketing campaigns?
Just when Bubble was starting to get some momentum…
I’m sure these fixes are going to improve Bubble, but this kind of work should’ve been done on a Saturday at 7pm - 3am. No complaints on my end, but the timing and heads up to the community (even if this was last minute) could’ve been better.
It seems to be always on the middle of a working day..
Unfortunately the part about unexpected incidents is that you can’t plan for them
You can mitigate risk, as hundreds of bubble users have pointed out previously. This is a patently absurd reply. Furthermore - as another user pointed out, what is plannable is an immediate reversion instead of letting us spin our wheels. Revert, then get the ducks lined up and deploy when ready. Your earlier comment that ‘the only way out is through’ is again absurd and patent nonsense.
I’m sorry, I know this is frustrating. But the team is doing the best they can to get everything back to a healthy state.
We’ll continue sharing more as information becomes available
Any ETA?
Am I right in reading this is supposedly a “planned” outage or upgrade during prime US business hours? If so that is totally unacceptable. An outage that is out of someone’s control I can live with, stuff happens. This is ridiculous if the team planned it during these hours.
Whoa, that was a little spicy.

lol maybe it came that way on text. I just meant that this isn’t planned maintenance work so it happened at a time we can’t control
This isn’t making sense. I don’t appreciate the LOL either. We have actual business running on your platform. If its maintenance work it should have been planned. If it’s not, be clear.
TBF the status page makes it seem like this is planned maintenance. I know Bubble wouldn’t purposely do this, but the status page leaves it open to interpretation
I guess the point being made is not that so much that the outage is frustrating (which obviously it is - but which could be nonetheless tolerable depending on the why) but rather that the HOW of Bubble deals with these outages is what drives people insane. Combined with the failure to take reasonable steps to avoid these outages in the first place. Everyone admires ‘people working as hard as they can’ but if the method is flawed it doesn’t matter, does it?
Sorry everyone, I’m sharing the information I have at hand. No ETA on the fix yet.
