Unpopular opinion.
I would suggest that Bubble spend more resources on improving the stability of the system, like getting the uptime to be >99.9% , rather than on new AI features.
I can live without the AI tools, but not this !
Honestly, I think your users would be willing to pay more for improvements in system stability and performance, even more than your new AI features.
Nearing two hours here of complete downtime affecting our app that our sales teams use to manage their pipelines and close new deals. This is a business-critical application.
As an Enterprise Dedicated customer with Enterprise Support, the way this situation is being managed (and previous situations) is unacceptable. I work in tech (as most of us on here do,) and I understand unplanned outages. However, based on the Status page and the responses I’ve received from our Enterprise Support team, this appears to have been caused by changes made to the Bubble platform–not a third-party outage.
We didn’t even receive an acknowledgment from our Enterprise Support team for over half an hour. It took almost an hour for the Status page to show there was a service impact. The Intercom AI chatbot did not escalate my chat to a live agent once I selected the “Emergency” option. It just went silent/dead.
Again. We understand unplanned outages. However, the fact that so many of us were impacted immediately and it took almost an hour for Bubble to communicate this to the public is unacceptable. Us Bubble customers didn’t even get an email blast. We had to resort to the Forum and the lagged Status page for some sort of information about this.
I would strongly suggest someone with a major title at Bubble weigh in here. There are not many categories of issues that are unplanned yet cannot be resolved by reverting to the status before the issue occurred. We’re talking things like physical equipment failures, revocation of licenses, sudden failure of critical resources, hacking, and the like. In all cases these are severe and question the underlying stability of the entire platform. Bubble can’t leave Fede out in front of this alone. The company needs better crisis management. We’re talking about enterprise relationships here.
Doesn’t anyone on the support team have a Buildprint subscription?
Alright, it’s been almost two hours and we still don’t have an eta, know what happened, or what to expect. This might be the straw that breaks the camel’s back.
Any updates that can be shared? Is the team making progress?
Sort of…

Same here. As I don’t monitor the Status page all the time, and email notifications are often delayed (or never arrive), I use this Chrome extension Bubble Status Monitor. It sits in the corner of my browser and notifies me whenever there are issues with Bubble.
It’s especially useful when I’m focused on work in the Bubble editor and something isn’t working as expected (as today), as I may not be checking the forum or emails immediately: Bubble Status Monitor
Thank you Bubble for this… you forced us to jump ship to our coded app we were testing indefinitely, and everything is running with flying colors for now… we will be saving around $2000 a month on this bill for $200 on our own server LOL…
Hey all, new update coming soon
Same here, and honestly this is getting hard to defend in front of our clients.
Since around noon CT they’ve been getting “Sorry, we ran into a temporary bug and can’t complete your request” in the middle of their workday. They couldn’t use the app, and we were the ones on the phone apologizing for an outage we have zero control over.
This is not a one-off. Outages keep happening, and every time the message is the same: “no action needed on your side, updates to follow.” For those of us running real businesses on Bubble, that’s not good enough.
@fede.bubble we need concrete answers, not “update coming soon”:
- What was the root cause, and what specifically is changing so this doesn’t happen again?
- Will Bubble publish a full post-incident report with timeline and impact?
- What SLA or credit will apps that run real businesses receive for today?
- Why are infrastructure changes being pushed during US business hours?
We pay for a production platform. Reliability shouldn’t be optional, and it shouldn’t take a forum thread to get basic accountability.
^^ THIS
Have been saying this for years. Its clear Bubble’s focus is on AI features to drive user growth, which may well be whats best for their business. Unfortunately, that prioritization comes at a steep price for enterprise clients who have had basic functionality requests ignored for years in favor of flashy new AI features.
It’s getting to a point where migrating to code is too cheap/simple to ignore. Fwiw, the folks at Migrate your Bubble app to code | Not Quite Unicorns have this down to a couple days project. @georgecollier
New status update is up now
Indeed but first lots of API keys to rotate
Taking downtime is still better than leaking customer data though, so Bubble’s doing the right thing and I’m sure everyone is working as fast as possible.
Also obligatory ‘wasn’t me’ ![]()
I believe that will happened very soon if it hasn’t already. We proactively reached out to all our dedicated customers and we are putting together a list of impacted users to email as well
Any details on what parts of the applications are affected so we can alert users accordingly? In our case, it doesn’t appear to be a full outage but certain aspects aren’t working
Sorry I can’t say at the moment. The priority is to make sure Bubble is secured and the attackers are fully locked out, so the team may disrupt services where they need to for now
I cannot access my application, and it is showing error messages. This is frustrating. When will it be back up and running? I have clients waiting.
