Add bbcode to thing text

hi All,

Been struggling with this for a while, I’m sure it is an obvious mistake… but how do I apply BBCode to a thing’s text…

e.g. if I use

I get the following when I display the text

If you are using BBCode you don’t need to enable the Recognize links and emails option. Try disabling that and it should work.

thanks I’ve tried that, but still doesn’t work…
