Nothing too fancy/complicated, it’s just a starter template to explain your product/service offering, showcase your portfolio, and build an FAQ/knowledge base.

Instructions

To modify the content of the portfolio or the FAQ, create new entries in the database and remove the existing ones.

I am getting an error when trying to create a new app using this as a template.

I select ‘New App’
Give an app name
I select this template under the ‘Start from a template’ dropdown
And then an error pops up stating ‘Sorry, we ran into a temporary bug and can’t complete your request. We’ll fix it as soon as we can; please try again in a bit!’

It uses up the app name so it can’t be used in the future but does not display under ‘My apps’.

I don’t receive this error when using other templates when creating an app.

Hi @bill1. That’s strange, but not unusual. I have had that problem several times with different templates. Even when trying to simply create an app from scratch. Can you close your browser and start again, or try from a different browser? That should do, hopefully.

Yeah, I’ve tried Firefox, IE, Edge and Chrome. I’ve cleared cache and even have tried on different computers but no joy.

I’ve submitted a bug report to Bubble but wasn’t sure if this was specific to this one template, but your response indicates that it is not.

Hopefully Bubble will have a response as I really want to take a look at the FAQ page of your template.

Thanks @Lucien, I appreciate the look.

I am fairly new at Bubble and am trying to figure this out. Even after going through the learning demos and videos I am still kinda scratching my head. Seeing how you did the faq and how it connects to the back-end database has clicked on the lights and I can now visualize how I can start my faq based on topics.
