This plugin will use data from your Bubble database or any other dynamic source and turn it into a Gantt chart. Support clickable links as well as workflos to zoom in/out or center the chart.
Awesome Levon. Iād been trying to build something like this myself - but my attempts were a little clunky. As Keith pointed out, Iāve also noticed the increased effort in documentation as Iāve been perusing your plugin options. As a novice user the previous lack of documentation did make my early experiences with some of the plugins very frustrating - so thank you, I think you will win over many more users this way.
One quick question I have though is whether it would be possible in a future release to expose an additional workflow or state for āselected taskā - which would allow a user to click on a project task within the gantt chart and show the underlying task detail in a pop-up for editing etc.
Hi, @levon. Thanks for building this. I bought it and hope to start working with it later this week.
Regarding the parent/dependent relationships:
Iām wondering if this could be enhanced so that rather than type ātextā, it could be the same type as the Task Type. That is how the relationships will be maintained in my DB, so it would save me from the work of also maintaining the text version of the Task Parent/Dependent IDs.
Hello, there @laurence, as you can see here the Parent/Dependent IDās are the Unique Id which was generated by Bubble, each Entry has this unique Id, you donāt have to maintain the text version.
We are delighted to announce that we have made a few improvements to the plugin, such as: the ability to remove the group during the progress hover the ability to hide/add some column the ability to sort information alphabetically in a column the ability to show/hide task list added rescale and show/hide the clock the ability to change column names added styling (background, text) columns can be named in different languages
Also⦠is there a way to (a) to apply a vertical scroll within the plugin? I know I can do it in bubble, but the header is not frozen so it gets hard to use and (b)export the gantt chart into some useable format like png svg or pdf. I tried using PDF Conjure but the Gantt chart type is not recognised as an image or a table.
Thanks for following up. I consider the offset issue a bug. the only way to resolve it as it is would be to make the list hidden altogether. It looks to me like the problem relates to a greater row height for yesterday, today and tomorrow for which the list does not adjust
Unfortunately, we couldnāt reproduce this issue on our side. Due to the fact that we have some additional questions regarding your settings, can you please add our Support Team email to the list of collaborators? This will allow us to check your settings and run some tests to fix the mentioned problem.
To add our Support Team as a collaborator, you need to do the following steps in the Bubble Editor:
