Hey everyone, I’m looking to better understand how the AirDev dev partner program works once you’re accepted.
For context (in case it matters), I’ve been Bubbling for about 5 years and also have a background in product management. After a planned travel sabbatical, I’m now transitioning back into full-time work and am US-based, in case that’s relevant.
A few questions I had:
-
Do developers typically get assigned to a project right away, or does this depend on availability?
-
Are developers dedicated to a single client or rotated across projects?
-
How frequently does one switch clients?
Over the past 5 years, I’ve mostly worked with a small number of long-term clients and built pretty strong relationships with them. At this point, I’m interested in the agency model so I can focus more on building and shipping products, rather than juggling client management.
Appreciate any insights from folks who’ve gone through the program — thanks!
