I’m a fairly new user, and I would love to have a chat AI with a Bubble expert who can answer questions about expressions, best practices, how to set something up with a conversation, etc. Is that something you see happening in the future? I use Chat GPT now and it is very helpful, but it’s knowledge of Bubble is limited.
Will there be consideration given to users who do not value or want AI features? For example, a non-AI tier? I’m also worried that with all the AI focus, more basic development like general reliability, performance, UI enhancements, etc. will get pushed to the background?
Looking forward to the event! Something you might not be aware of: the link to register for the event that appears in the email I received today is incorrect and does not go to the event registration page. I had to come here for the correct link.
Hi there, Yes, I’m having the same issues - it’s directing me to Ring Central and no way of registering for the event.
@michael55 and @michelle1 sorry for the confusion, the correct link is:
If I’ve already built a web app in Bubble, what are the options for turning it into a mobile app? Can it be done without rebuilding everything from scratch?
Is this feature accessible now? When can I use the AI feature on my existing app?
Regarding Workflow Correction:
- “Can Bubble AI automatically detect and fix issues in workflows that might prevent them from achieving the intended outcome? For example, if a user’s flow doesn’t trigger the expected actions or data, will Bubble AI identify and correct the problem?”
On AI-Assisted Iteration: - “How does Bubble AI support users in refining and iterating on workflows that are not performing as expected? Can it provide real-time suggestions for fixing logical or functional errors?”
Guidance for Unknown Features: - “If I want to implement a new feature or function in my app and I’m unsure of how to go about it, can Bubble AI guide me through the process step-by-step, suggesting the necessary components, workflows, and logic to make it happen?”
Bubble AI’s Role in Workflow Optimization: - “How does Bubble AI assist in optimizing workflows for performance and scalability, especially when building out complex logic? Can it recommend adjustments based on the app’s usage and performance data?”
Self-Correction vs. Manual Input - “Is there a balance between Bubble AI fixing workflows automatically and the need for manual user input? For example, will it fix the workflows on its own without the need for me to be directly involved, or will it just suggest fixes for me to implement?”
Learning from Workflow Changes: - “How does Bubble AI learn from previous fixes or changes made in the workflows? Can it get better over time at suggesting fixes based on the app’s evolving needs?”
could you please answer the two parts to this question separately:
- IP: has bubble AI been trained with users’ apps?
(the assumption here is yes, but presumably mostly experts’ apps - and then the followup question would be: have you thought of compensating your community experts for this in any way? e.g. WU, app upgrade, BubbleCon tickets? no personal skin in the game here but it would be the decent thing for bubble to do if it used experts’ work product to build something that will eventually make those same experts redundant…) - data: has bubble AI had access to any app data / user data?
(this is a serious compliance/GDPR question)
Terms Section 5(d) License to Bubble: ‘By posting, displaying, sharing or distributing Direct User Content on or through the Platform, you grant Bubble, its affiliates, and any applicable Third Party Services a nonexclusive license to use such Direct User Content during the Term (as defined in Section 11) solely for the purpose of operating the Platform and providing related services.’
does bubble AI fall under ‘the purpose of operating the Platform and providing related services’…?
which naturally leads to the question
- where is the bubble AI privacy blurb?
(here’s a snipit from Supabase: Information you submit through our Supabase AI tool. many thanks
Please speak to the concerns of the community. There is an every larger and louder chorus of discontent from within the community.
- How is Bubble segmenting their work on AI from all the other work that needs to be done? During the live ‘insiders’ webinar a Bubble rep spoke to the idea that ‘half the engineering team is working on areas other than AI and Mobile’, and during that it seemed to have a choreographed head nodding from other team members…whether that was a planned part of the presentation to help emphasize that point or a more natural response from the other team members, it still feels from user experience that this might not be true.
Is Bubble planning on continuing to prioritize AI features over fixing pre-existing features (think around the lines of all ‘new’ features released over past 12 months till left ‘half-baked’ or with significant lack of functionality)? This is where I believe the growing discontent with the platform comes from. It feels as if our experiences are ignored for what the team perceives as the more important goals to be accomplished.
Will Bubble segment support in a way so that when they are inundated with AI related questions that the response to those doesn’t distract from providing timely support for other areas? Support seems to have taken a nosedive over the past 3 months and it sounds like from all the replies from support that they are swamped and have too much work piled up that there are continuous landslides causing past submitted issues to get buried deeper and eventually just lost. There also seems to be a growing tendency for the reports to not really be read and interpreted and comprehended, and I believe this is not a result of support team as individuals not capable, but more likely they are under an enormous amount of strain and are struggling to cope with such heavy workloads.
Does Bubble believe their current level of service is sufficient for AI? With the downtimes, outages, lagging editors etc. etc. does, Bubble believe their current infrastructure is sufficient for the added strain an increase in users and AI features? It seems like a lot of community members are questioning the decision making regarding prioritization and how that can come back to bite Bubble…it is a simple concept of a foundation, if the structure that sits on top of the foundation, doesn’t have a strong enough foundation, it will topple over, no matter how shiny the windows were or how nicely painted the lobby was. It feels like the current foundation is not ready to support AI as it seems not sufficient to support Bubble without AI at present.
12 months ago before AI was all the hype from bubble, there was so much chatter of fixing the tech debt, of getting stability and performance improvements…is there not a better order of operations to follow such as ‘fix the core first, add on top second’ rather than what it feels like is happening of ‘add on top first, hope the core doesn’t fall, and if we do not get distracted by another…oh look another shiny object’…
Olá, a Bubble poderia criar planos mais baratos em REAL R$ para que possamos transformar nossos projetos bubble de MVP para sistemas em produção real, não tendo medo com altas contas em Dolar U$. Obrigado.
Is Bubble currently profitable?
A lot of the key team seem to have left recently, Greg, Payam and Allen to name a few. Does Bubble have an issue retaining core talent?
Are Bubble looking to raise more funds or is it a case of lean down and push for profitability?
Is the AI going to use the current native Bubble elements? Or can it whip up its own custom elements on the fly with the functionality I’m asking for? Or is Bubble going to bring their current elements into the 2020s?
If using the current elements, wouldn’t the AI just be helping me build apps with an outdated look and feel?
Native Bubble elements (you can make them look good, btw)
Hi, is there a plan to introduce AI agent also for currently existing app? I see that currently I can use it only for a new app.
Thanks
Thanks for the work. I have a question that may not quite related AI, but may bother some users:
I am struggling with my website loading speed built on Bubble. I have tried to minimize the elements, conditions and workflows, but it seems not quite improving.
Can you guide me what I can do to improve my website loading speed? Thanks a lot.
When can we expect the AI streaming? The docs and last comms said that it’d be live by end of Q1; but I’ve not seen anything yet. Can we get a firm date please?
