Animate Font Awesome Plugin?

Hi, i have a “Group Focus” it contains an icon and have given it an id through id attribute. The same id is entered in the animate fa. plugin but the icon does not animate?

I tried placing the plugin and icon on index page and it works, can any one help how to make it work in a Group?

I haven’t tried this yet but I believe you can put an icon in a text element which you cam make look like a button or group.
I have it under good authority you can even make it rotate
