Any workarounds to get a faster image upload?

Anyone figured out sth in the meantime to get faster uploads via the open camera workflow?

I’m also facing this issue… On the regular editor at least I could create some condition while the element was loading, but I don’t see this option using the native image uploader…

totally. I’d be super fine displaying some spinning loader or sth but I just need to attach this to the loading state which I don’t think is possible rn

Sometimes the image for me never uploads at all, resulting in a blank image, but to the user they selected the image. All around the camera / upload native features need help @nick.carroll

I know there are a few 3rd party plugins for uploads that may be worth trying at this point. I’ve looked through some of them, but haven’t found one that supports both single-image uploads and multi-image uploads (which is my use case).

I think for image-heavy apps, it’s also going to be worth looking at a CDN to serve images (or compress them on the way in) to accommodate trying to load images on mobile connections. (I had asked about speeding up the display on image and someone kicked in the recommendation for the CDN, I think it’s a good one)

I use this plugin. It supports multiple images, camera, and shows instant thumbnails before upload.

Bubble def needs to improve image upload. On low cell services it’s either painfully slow or just never uploads an image (without error).
