Anyone know of a nifty way to add spans to text written with the Rich Text Editor?

I’m hoping there’s a way to use Bubble’s RTE to generate rich text but then add spans to specific text when rendering on the page. I know I can input the text into an HTML element, but I am hoping I can avoid this since Bubble’s RTE uses BBCode and stores with BBCode tags.
