Are the default picture/file elements a bit rubbish?

I’m not sure if I’m missing something, or are the default Bubble image and file uploaders a bit… rubbish?

Why would I want to replace the image upload button with the image itself? Why would I want to replace the file upload button with the name of the file? Why not at least make these an option?

I just want to make a button to upload a profile pic and it seems unnecessarily difficult.

You can use a conditional to make the pictureuploader or filepicker invisible when their value is not empty.
