Browser/phone differences?

My client has an iphoneX, and I’ve got an android S10. Someone else at the company has an earlier iphone, like 7.

Some things that work just fine on the app do not work on the iphone X through the Chrome browser.

Example: playing 360 degree videos from YouTube through my app on the iphoneX, they do not render properly and look all warped. But when he visits those same videos directly on youtube app, works fine.

Another thing doesn’t work, some javascript thing, on the iphone X also

I can’t help but think its in the browser and fact that I’ve got this web app going.

What can I do to try to get it so that the bosses phone actually performs consistently with what I’m seeing on other devices? I just can’t figure out where to look, what to try.

Specifically, running this youtube hosted 360 degree video when I tell use inspect in the browser, when I tell it its running anything except an iphone, I get this which is correct:

When I simply switch the browser type to iphone, any version, it displays like this which is wrong:

Yet the videos when viewed from the youtube app work for iphone and android.

So it feels like something in bubble.

No one huh?

Sorry sir, this seems rather unique to what I’ve seen here. You are probably the only one working on something like this.

I have tried it with several iphones looks that it doesn’t work with IOS . A youtube issue iguess i saw another site similar to youtube if you want to check it out

if you have to use youtube. keep searching maybe there is solution for it otherwise you use you alternative websites.

Turns out that browsers on iphone X do not play 360 degree videos.

I don’t want users having to click out to a separate app but unfortunately that seems to be the only way.
