Bubble Developer Needed — Adaptive Test-Prep MVP — Fixed $3,000

Bubble Developer Needed — Adaptive Test-Prep MVP — Fixed $3,000

Project:
I am building 100 Test Prep, a desktop-first web application offering original simulated tests based on the 2026 TOEFL iBT structure. I am a non-coder and need a Bubble specialist to build the application engine and integrations. I will supply the test content in a structured Airtable/CSV format.

Eight-week MVP:

  • One reusable, data-driven test engine
  • Five complete launch tests, with support for importing additional tests
  • Reading and Listening with configurable two-stage adaptive routing
  • Linear Writing and Speaking sections
  • Instruction screens and section transitions
  • Hideable, server-authoritative timers
  • Autosaving and recovery after refresh
  • Answer selection and confirmation
  • Reading/stimulus display
  • Audio preloading, volume control and one-play behavior
  • Microphone check, timed speaking recording and upload
  • Deterministic objective scoring
  • Server-side AI API calls for estimated Writing/Speaking feedback
  • Results and basic weakness dashboard
  • Sign-up, email verification, login, logout and password reset
  • Stripe Checkout for a one-time 30-day access pass
  • Stripe webhook handling, refunds and access extensions
  • Unique referral links/codes and delayed renewal credits
  • Admin import and basic support tools
  • Bubble privacy rules and server-side API secrets
  • Basic watermarking, active-session control and activity logging

Not included:

  • Native mobile applications
  • Custom React/Supabase development
  • Content creation or question entry
  • Exact official TOEFL-score claims
  • Hard IP blocking or guaranteed screenshot prevention
  • Automated cash referral payouts
  • Complete SRS or AI-generated practice bank
  • Copying the ETS visual design

Technical requirements:

  • The application must be data-driven. Tests must not be duplicated as separate pages.
  • Timers must use a server-stored expiration time. Browser storage may be used only as a backup.
  • Stripe access must be granted through verified, idempotent webhooks—not the success page.
  • API keys must remain server-side.
  • Each user must be prevented from reading another user’s responses.
  • The app must handle failed audio uploads and failed AI calls.
  • Development and production credentials must remain separate.
  • The application and accounts must remain under my ownership.
  • No paid plugin may be added without approval.

Working arrangement:

  • Eight-week schedule
  • Fixed-price budget: maximum $3,000
  • Funded milestone payments
  • Weekly live demonstration
  • Written weekly status report
  • Four short handoff videos
  • Data dictionary and workflow documentation
  • Fourteen-day post-launch correction period for defects within the agreed scope
  • Final payment after production handoff

Application instructions:

Please provide:

  1. Two relevant Bubble projects and your exact role in each
  2. An example involving payments, timed workflows, media recording or complex data
  3. Your proposed data architecture
  4. Any plugins or external services you expect to use
  5. Your availability over the next eight weeks
  6. Answers to the technical questions below
  7. What you would remove first if the entire scope cannot be completed within $3,000

Hi @100TestPrep This is perfect fit for our team at Raftworks. Please check my DM.

Hey @100TestPrep , sent you a DM, lets talk!

Hi,

This looks like a really interesting project.

I have 4+ years of experience building production Bubble applications and have worked directly with startup founders on AI, Shopify, analytics, and workflow-heavy platforms.

A few projects relevant to your requirements:

  • Constellux – Built from scratch with Shopify OAuth, GraphQL, OpenAI, complex backend workflows, and scheduled data syncs.
  • ReturnX.ai – Senior Bubble Developer, worked directly with the founder, delivered new features, migrated Shopify REST APIs to GraphQL, and optimized production workflows.
  • GetFunding – Built an investor analytics system that tracks time spent on each pitch deck slide using backend workflows and event tracking.

Your focus on a reusable data-driven architecture, server-side timers, secure Stripe webhooks, and privacy rules matches how I normally build Bubble applications.

I’m available 40+ hours/week and can start immediately.

I’ve sent you a DM with more details, relevant demos, and my approach to the project.

Thanks!

Shantanu Keshewad

@100TestPrep Hi Matt,

  1. Portfolio with some of projects - https://portfolio-79s.pages.dev/
  2. I connected Stripe/Paddle/Apple+Google payments. I didn’t save any screenshots, but as for payments, you shouldn’t use timed workflows at all. You should use webhooks for payments. Otherwise, it’s an unreliable way to track payments.
3)The main thing is to follow the fundamental rules (don’t store sheets in a child table, but link to the parent table), and adhere to some basic principles that will allow you to properly define privacy rules and not interfere with the Scale application. Here, it’s important to know exactly what features are planned and discuss everything fully before giving an answer.
4)I’m not a fan of using plugins where they’re not necessary, as they add unnecessary overhead. However, if you’re making a mobile version, you’ll need a wrapper plugin. I think you’ll need a microphone checker plugin. As for Stripe, it’s best not to use plugins at all.
  3. 20 hours/week
6)If you are interested, I will answer your questions during the call.
7)Adaptive routing goes first - ship linear sections, add adaptivity later. It’s the largest build risk and users can’t tell on day one. Then the - referral system. Then admin tools - you can manage content from the Bubble editor for the first weeks.

Hello everyone.

The position has been filled.

Thank you for your interest.
