@adzbiz11 According to Josh’s most recent post that shard concept is something they’re going toward for their main cluster overall. It appears they will begin to have multiple clusters and load balancers between them.
this is how most major hosting platforms like Shopify, Squarespace, etc handle it.
I’m not sure if I’d consider that semi dedicated or hope to have a price increase for it more so just how large scale multi site hosting is built and expected to work from my understanding of it.
