Bubble.io is appending all of my external links causing them not to work

Bubble is appending all of my external links with “https://business-guide.bubbleapps.io/ version-test” causing them not to load. I’ve tried setting them up using the link element and the workflow. Both are resulting in the same issue. This just started happening on external link adds today but the ones I’ve created historically are working.

Are you using the “Open an external website” action? I use that and have no issues.

yes I’m using all the right setup including open external.

File a bug report then, not sure what that’s happening to you.

It would be helpful if youd post a screenshot of the action, describe the expected outcome, and what the actual outcome is.

That would allow us to be able to help.

Yeah bug reports take 12+ hours for response.

It’s pretty straight forward, I’ve put in an external link to open, i’ve used both the link element and the external website workflow. Bubble is adding the additional content to the link I put in causing the link not to load.

What data are you putting into the link?..

I get what you’re saying, but maybe you did something incorrectly that we cant tell without a screenshot.

Just the actual external link that needs to be opened. No other data.

I did it exactly as I’ve done it 100 times and it worked the previous times. Today it is now adding this special challenge. This isn’t a complicated workflow or element action. It doesn’t have a lot of options or alterations that can be included. It’s just the link element with the external link. Bubble is adding the extra appending data to the link in Preview when I try to click on the element to open the link.

It’s really hard to debug with you just describing the issue, would be better if you drop a preview link or something so we can take a look first-hand.

Yeah i’m not giving access to my app to a group of strangers for something as simple as a link element. It’s not complicated, if you don’t know what the issue is you don’t need to get involved.
