I’m new to bubble and I’m looking for a bubble developer to help me on my way.
I’ve started a little app for my work that involves creating custom lists from a database and performing calculations on the custom list.
I’ve made a good start but there are a few things cropping up that I need help with.
At the moment it’s just a single page with no styling as I am just trying to get POC first before I create the finished app.

We are currently working on an app and are looking to launch it by January 30th. We need
at least one week for beta testing before we launch it so ideally from Jan 18th to 22nd. We want to have our beta version ready before Jan 18th. We are almost done with the app but there are some problems with workflows that we can’t seem to figure out. We saw your website and the hourly session looks promising but we are a bunch of college students and are currently tight on cash as we have used most of capital for getting plugins that will be used in the app as of now
Our app can be classified as a social media app.
We need help with the following workflows
We would love to work with you but is it possible if the hourly rate can
lowered. We are even fine with paying the 105 in dividends through several
weeks if thats fine.
If both of the following requests above are not acceptable then we are fine with
paying the 105 per hour as a last resort option although it will affect our future
opening significantly.
We really need help in the last push to launch the app before the 18th.

Let me know what type of notifications you are trying to do and if you are using a plugin for your search or not. I want to make sure I’m well prepared for your session so you can make sure you get the most value for your session.

Also, if you can’t afford the session you can just post here on the forum and add my name @j805 to it. I will try to take a look at things in between sessions when I get a chance. I have fixed most of the problems with my app. The only remaining problem left is getting a unique comment section for each picture and getting a countdown timer.
In terms of my comment section, it seems to work fine but its the same comment section for every image in the repeating group. Is there away to make it a unique comment section for each image in the repeating group?
Also do you know of any plugins that can work as a countdown timer or any inbuilt bubble functions for the countdown timer?

Yes, you can connect the comment to the parent post. You can add a data type to the comment called parentPost and then make it a post type (not text or number). Then when creating the comment you can save this data to the comment.
Then in the post when you are seeing the data, you can filter out the comments by saying:
parentPost = Parent group’s post
This will allow you to only view the comments connected to that post.

I have launched my app and my beta testing period is almost done. I wanted
to thank you you for your help in helping me fix some major problems that I faced earlier. It will be
on the app and google play store as an official app by tomorrow night. I am running into
a few last minute minor problems that my test users pointed out and I just need some quick guidance on fixing them. I would appreciate it if you can guide me on solving these minor problems.
When current user follows another user a notification on the activity feed should appear
saying “Current User (name) followed you”. The problem is this statement is appearing on the current user’s activity feed. I want it to appear on the activity feed of the user who was followed by the current user.
Every comment on each individual image in the repeating group is unique. Every reply to every comment in each individual image in the repeating group is the same. How do I fix that?
How do I setup the option for a user to make their profile public or private. If its private they will
still show up on the search page? The only difference is that there will be request to follow rather than it being a direct follow.
What should be done to prevent duplicate usernames? Bubble can already track duplicate emails but can’t do the same with usernames

Awesome That’s great news. The Apple store is not easy to get into. Most people have to try a few times before they get accepted. So that’s fantastic.
I will take a look at each of these issues with you next week. Hope to get those problems fixed for you. It might take a bit of time, but we will see what we can do!
In the mean time, if you could take a screenshot of the first issue and share that here, so I will have something to work with next week, that would be great.
