I’ve just finished converting my web app to a native mobile one and have successfully published my builds to the App and Play stores.
In testing - through Testflight - I am noticing some really weird behaviour that was not present in the Bubble Go test at all and is now causing a real problem
I have a chat function in app that has different categories - DMs, Event chat, Group chat. In the chat screen users can cycle between categories with a chip menu that alters the state - and message channel data source - of the Vertical List that displays the available chat messages.
In the mobile build, clicking a chip seems to send the app down some wildly recursive search workflow that freezes the app, stops any other searches from running (in other views), and then within a minute will completely lock me out of Bubble (even the back end) as my IP address becomes limited by Cloudflare. Locking me out of everything for 5 minutes or so.. until I try testing it again.
The set up in Bubble looks absolutely fine, and this all tests perfectly in Preview and Bubble Go. It is only when using the Testflight build that this happens.
This is a small database (especially in testing), and works fast in other tests.
This seems to be a problem post Bubble build only.
Has anyone else seen this or something similar? Anything I can do to fix it, or is it a straight up bug?
